Beacon

The Beacon is a room on the roof of the Lighthouse, where penguins are able to look out at sea for The Migrator, or play Jet Pack Adventure.

The Beacon Telescope is located on the left-hand side of the Beacon and can be used to spot the Migrator whenever Rockhopper is sailing to or from Club Penguin Island. While peering through the telescope, the red glow of the Shipwreck Island Beacon can be seen over the horizon.

History[]

The Beacon was released on February 5, 2023, following the opening of Club Penguin Journey.

During the April Fools Party 2023, the Beacon was decorated with red and white balloons and streamers, and snow sculptures of Rockhopper, Sensei, Aunt Arctic, and Gary. There was box with a java bag that functioned as a portal to the Coffee Shop.
During the Puffle Party 2023, the Beacon became the Green Puffle hub and was decorated with green banners and balloons, and a tightrope.
During the Card-Jitsu Party 2023, the Beacon light had a pink hue, and cherry blossoms were fallen on the floor.
During the Submarine Party, the Beacon light took the form of a large pufferfish and was decorated with seaweed, sea creatures, algae, and corals. The telescope took the form of a yellow periscope.
During The Fair 2023, the Beacon featured fair-themed colors, and part of the Beacon light was covered with decorated images of a puffle on an orange backdrop. There was a big Jet Pack Adventure sign that displayed a penguin blasting off with a jetpack.
During the Halloween Party 2023, the Beacon light was replaced with a giant jack-o-lantern. A red lollipop was hidden by the telescope, as part of the Halloween Candy Hunt.
During the Holiday Party 2023, the Beacon light was glowing red, and the room was decorated with festive garlands. A red present replaced the crate by the telescope.

During the 1st Anniversary Party, the Beacon was decorated the same way as it was during the Submarine Party.
During the April Fools Party 2024, the Beacon was drawn in pencil on white paper.
During the Medieval Party 2024, the Beacon was the top of a wizard tower. Players entered the room through a trapdoor. The room was decorated with purple mushrooms and a brazier, with logs that could be used to make a fire. The Jet Pack Adventure platform became wooden, with the jetpack known as the "Wizard's Flying Machine".
During the Summer Kickoff Party, the Beacon was the top of a palm tree, with leaves growing just below it. The Beacon Light was encased with bamboo instead of metal, and top of the light was also covered with leaves.
During the Music Jam 2024, the sky and clouds turned purple.
During The Fair 2024, the Beacon was decorated similarly to the previous year.
During the Halloween Party 2024, the Beacon was decorated similarly to the previous year, with additional jack-o-lanterns and candy.
During the Holiday Party 2024, the Beacon's light was glowing red, and most of the room was covered in snow.

During the Festival of Flight, a giant metal propeller replaced the Beacon light, which was used to lift the island in the air. The ladder on the bottom left led players down to the Beach.
During the 2nd Anniversary Party, the Beacon was decorated the same way as it was during the Festival of Flight.
During the Puffle Party 2025, the Beacon became the Green Puffle hub again and featured more decorations such as large green puffle cutouts and green rugs. The top of the Beacon light resembled a circus tent supported by green beams, and players could throw pie. The Green Puffle Pin was hidden on top of the Beacon light.
During the April Fools Party 2025, the Beacon was decorated with white and purple balloons, and an "April Fools!" banner. The telescope was painted purple and blue with stars, and the room was mixed up with the Coffee Shop, with floating java bags and coffee tables set up on the floor.
During the Medieval Party 2025, the Beacon was decorated similarly to the previous year.
During Sensei's Fire Scavenger Hunt and the Card-Jitsu Fire Party, the sky turned orange, changing the lighting of the room. The jetpack was one of the items required for the scavenger hunt.
During The Fair Games, the Beacon was decorated similarly to the previous years.
During the Halloween Party 2025, the Beacon was decorated similarly to the previous year.
During the Holiday Jam, the Beacon was decorated similarly to the previous year.

During the 3rd Anniversary Party, the Beacon was decorated the same way as it was during The Fair Games.

During New Year's Day 2024, a dance floor and balloons replaced the Beacon light, and the aurora borealis was removed. Before the celebration, a sign notified what time the celebration started. When the celebration started, various fireworks shot off in the distance, and the sign now read "Happy New Year".

During the Honeypuppy Concert, the red poles and Lighthouse were painted blue.
During New Year's Day 2025, the Beacon was decorated similarly to the previous year, with more snow surrounding the room.

During the Easter Scavenger Hunt 2025, an Easter egg was hidden on top of the telescope.
During the Club Penguin 20th Anniversary Celebration, the 9th Anniversary Hat worn by the Beacon Telescope, as part of the Party Hat Scavenger Hunt.
During New Year's Day 2026, the Beacon was decorated similarly to the previous year. Unlike previous years, the aurora borealis was kept.
