The Boiler Room is a room beneath the Dance Club that serves as a power source for the entire island. Players are able to access previous issues of the Club Penguin Times by clicking on the top left drawer of the cabinet, or the Newspaper Archives interface in the bottom right corner. The green door to the left of the cabinet leads to the Underground Pool, and clicking on the window of the red boiler takes penguins to the Old Boiler Room.
History[]
The Boiler Room was released on February 5, 2023, following the opening of Club Penguin Journey. On February 25, 2023, a secret code was written on the bulletin board, which reads SNOWBALL, denoting a secret regarding the cabinets. The Newspaper Archives were added to the Boiler Room on April 18, 2023.

Parties[]
- During the Puffle Party 2023, the original five puffle colors hung out in the room.
- During the Halloween Party 2023, the Boiler Room turned into a monochrome laboratory, featuring an invention called the Monster Maker 3000. There was a taped-up box with a glowing red light coming out of it, signifying the end of The Backrooms.
- During the 1st Anniversary Party, the Boiler Room was decorated the same way as it was during the Puffle Party 2023. Some candles were hidden behind the boiler as part of the Cake Scavenger Hunt.
- During the April Fools Party 2024, a large pot of boiling water replaced the boiler, with a caution sign above it. A timer was placed on top of the cabinet; once it has finished counting, a jack-in-the-box popped out of the wooden crate.
- During the Medieval Party 2024, the Boiler Room turned into The Smithy. There were various tools hung up on the left wall, a medieval fireplace, and the Pin Maker 3000, which created the Brazier Pin. The underground entrance moved to the eastern wall, and a small wooden container of water became the Old Boiler Room entrance.
- During the Summer Kickoff Party, a large H2O tank replaced the boiler, and some hoses and pipes connected water upstairs to the Dance Club.
- During the Halloween Party 2024, the Boiler Room was decorated similarly to the previous year, with the glowing red box being removed.
- During the Holiday Party 2024, a giant Christmas tree was placed in front of the usual underground entrance, and the boxes were wrapped with ribbons. The underground entrance was moved to the eastern wall, which became part of a crystal cave.
- During the 2nd Anniversary Party, the Boiler Room was decorated the same way as it was during the Halloween Party 2024. A door to the Underground Pool was added, which was missing from previous Halloween Parties.
- During the Puffle Party 2025, some puffles resided here, and the wooden crates were replaced with a scratching post and puffle house. The Puffle Party logo was posted on the bulletin board, and the room was decorated with streamers and balloons.
- During the April Fools Party 2025, the Boiler Room was snowed in by a giant hole in the eastern wall, which was part of a cave from the Forest. The room was decorated with purple and white streamers, and colorful balloons.
- During the Medieval Party 2025, the Boiler Room was decorated similarly to the previous year. This year, the Pin Maker 3000 created the Anvil Pin.
- During The Fair Games, the Boiler Room was decorated with balloon bunches that changed color depending on what team the player was on.
- During the Halloween Party 2025, the Boiler Room was decorated similarly to the previous year, with the addition of the door leading to the underground.
- During the Holiday Jam, the Boiler Room was decorated similarly to the previous year.
- During the 3rd Anniversary Party, the Boiler Room was decorated the same way as it was during the 50th Newspaper Event, with the 50th issue also making a return.
Mini-Events[]
- During the 50th Newspaper Event, the Boiler Room was decorated with orange and white streamers, balloons, and a banner that read "50 Newspapers". A large rug of the 50th issue was placed on the floor, and the issue was hung up on the bulletin board, as well as a small podium.
