Cadence is a penguin mascot who can be seen occasionally on Club Penguin Island. She is an energetic and passionate DJ, singer and dancer who loves music. She appears in Dance Contest as an NPC talking to the player.

Cadence is a lively penguin who is passionate and excited about music and dancing. She is a talented musician who has composed and performed many popular songs on her own and in collaboration with other musicians, such as the Penguin Band. She is also a skilled breakdancer and has been known to challenge players and other mascots to dance-offs.
Cadence tends to use slang while speaking and is friendly and enthusiastic when conversing with players. She has a sense of humor and can sometimes be sassy with players and other mascots during meet-ups.

- Although she didn't appear as a meetable mascot, Cadence held hourly concerts at the Ice Rink during the Holiday Party 2024 where she performed her new "Cool in the Cold".
- She appears in the Dance Contest mini-game, speaking to the player outside of the gameplay and announcing any streak milestones the player hits while playing the game. The player can also click her scarf on the difficulty selection screen to play the selected song on Extreme difficulty.
- Cadence was the subject of a meme during Music Jam 2024 known as 'Baldence'.

- The Cadence and the Keeper Card-Jitsu card features an early design of Cadence which has a different wig, scarf and headphones from her current design.
