Captain Crimson is the owner of the shop at the Swashbuckler Trading Post, which can be found by boarding the Migrator during the Pirate Party 2024. He wears a pirate attire, has a red gem on his eye patch and gold hook for a left flipper. He is friends with Rockhopper. His origins are unknown.
He made his first arrival to Club Penguin Island with his ship, The Voyager, on September 16, 2024, within The Dark Cave, a new area in the Cove. He exchanges rare items, known as his Voyager Offerings, to the player for gems. He departs on September 20, 2024, the release of The Fair 2024.
Personality[]
He is known to be quite greedy and tends to lie about the whereabouts of treasure, but he is an expert when it comes to business. He is direct, but sometimes willing to listen to reason when negotiating with him. He mirrors Rockhopper, being adventurous and fearless, willing to seek treasure in new places.
Story[]
When both Rockhopper and Crimson reunited during the Pirate Party 2024, Rockhopper mentioned that he was glad to see him safe and sound, even after years of Crimson's "suspicious trades".
Crimson said "There is nothing that can give me more happiness than the wealth I gain." Rockhopper then proceeded to ask him about The Red Gem, a gem that could supposedly help fix the Beacon. Crimson then denied he knew its whereabouts, but then told the player that he knew something about it, and it would be on Dinosaur Island.
Once the player proceeds to find the Red Gem, Rockhopper finds out that Crimson has been lying to him, so Captain Crimson lets Rockhopper keep the gem on one condition; he gets to visit Club Penguin Island. He then gives the player 100 Gems.
