The Cave Mine is located inside the Mine and is a room where penguins are able to drill and get coins. Currently, the amount of coins that one can get per hour is 3000-3500, depending on their luck. The only permanent room which can be entered from the Cave Mine is the Mine.
It is known to be a hub for many players, similar to the Town and the Welcome Room. This room can often be full.

Trivia[]
- The room's capacity was increased to 120 penguins because of the huge amount of players mining, on February 12, 2023, before being further increased to 150.
- Prior to the game update on February 18, 2023, players were able to mine indefinitely until they lost connection to the server. This has been permanently removed from the game.
- The mining update introduced the streak system:
- When mining, the player builds up a streak. Initially, the max amount of coins one can get is 80.
- After hitting a streak of 3, the amount of coins that can be received is limited to 30.
- After hitting a streak of 8, the maximum amount drops to 5.
- To reset their streak, the player must move to a different spot and start mining again.
- On August 12, 2024, after the release of Jobs, the streak system was updated.
- After hitting a streak of 3, the maximum amount that can be received drops to 5.
- The mining update introduced the streak system:
- Players were able to earn coins by using the Snow Shovel after the February 18, 2023 update.
- Players were able to earn coins by using the Grey Shovel after the August 2, 2023 update.
- The Cave Mine's music originates from the original Club Penguin game for the Nintendo DS, Elite Penguin Force: Herbert's Revenge.
- This was added at the launch of Puffle Party 2023 on May 18, 2023.
