A coin
Coins are the main currency of Club Penguin Journey. They are used to buy clothing, furniture, puffles, and more. Coins are mainly obtained from playing games, but it can be also obtained from other methods, such as codes, paychecks and competitions. Upon creating a penguin, you receive 500 coins.
Receiving/Earning Coins[]
Coins can be earned for any of the following:
- Playing Games (except Card-Jitsu, Fair games, and Club Penguin Times games)
- Becoming Penguin of the Week
- Performing a job
- Unlocking codes
- Postcard paychecks
- Winning competitions
Usage[]
Coins can be used for any of the following:
- Buying Items in Catalogs
- Buying Puffles
- Buying Card Booster Packs at the Dojo
- Sending Postcards
- Donating in Coins for Change
- Buying Game Upgrades
Trivia[]
- The rate at which players earn coins increases by 2x during Double Coin Weekend.
- There is a coin emoticon that can be accessed by pressing E+M.
