Jobs are activities that penguins can perform to earn coins. The first job launched with Club Penguin Journey on February 5, 2023, which was the task of digging in the Cave Mine. On August 12, 2024, 3 jobs were released with inclusion of becoming a Barista, a Pizza Chef, or a Digger on the Iceberg.
The Barista and Pizza Chef roles are both non-idle jobs, meaning the player must actively play, unlike digging at the Cave Mine or on the Iceberg.
Current Jobs[]
Job | Clothing Requirements | Location |
---|---|---|
Digger | Any Hard Hat, Miner Helmet, or Shovel | Cave Mine, Iceberg |
Barista | Coffee Apron | Coffee Shop |
Pizza Chef | Chef Hat and Pizza Apron | Pizza Parlor |
Digger Overview[]
The player needs to equip any one of the Hard Hats, Miner Helmets, or specific Shovels to start working as a Digger. They then need to go to either the Cave Mine or the Iceberg to start digging. For newer players, the Miners Helmet is always obtainable at the Cave Mine.
After a while, the coin reward will start to go down the more you stay in the same spot. The player would then need to move to another spot if they want to keep getting more coins. Either that, or they could just wave or throw a snowball to reset the coin counter and then continue to drill.
Barista and Pizza Chef Overview[]
The player needs to equip the Coffee Apron for the Coffee Shop and the Chef Hat and Pizza Apron for the Pizza Parlor to start working. Penguins can send the coffee or pizza emote to send a new order. Workers will receive the order and a coffee or pizza will appear on the front desk for workers to deliver.
After delivering the order to the penguin, workers receive 30 to 90 coins for each order completed, and there is a five second cooldown before another order can be taken. If a player has collected all Penguins at Work Stamps, the amount of coins they receive for each order is doubled.
