Questions for a Crab is the sixth Penguin Secret Agency point-and-click mission. It was released on February 16, 2024.

The following is a guide for Mission 6: Questions for a Crab and contains spoilers for the mission.

Mission start[]

The mission begins in the HQ Gadget Room. Gary will attempt to use the Crab Translator 3000 on the crab captured during Mission 5: Secret of the Fur. The crab will, however, destroy the machine and escape.

Gary will give you the task of catching the crab. You need to follow it out of the Sport Shop into the Ski Village, and then up the Ski Hill. You will need to follow the crab off the back of the ski hill, which will cause both of you to fall down.

Wilderness chase[]

You will end up in the Wilderness, the same area from Mission 2: G's Secret Mission. You will lose your map and be unable to teleport with the Spy Phone. Follow the crab until you get to the area with the cave, where the crab will slip through a door too small for you to fit. Return to the area with the stump, where you will find a familiar and hungry black puffle. From here, take the path to the far left.

You will see a bag of O'berries hanging off a tree. Use your Spy Phone and take out the scissors from the "Tools" button, then use the scissors to cut the rope and drop the bag of O'berries. Take the bag and return to the black puffle, who you will feed an O'berry. This will make them happy, and they will follow you. With the black puffle, return to the area with the cave. Click on the pet door with an O'berry, and the black puffle will jump inside and then let you in.

Escaping the trapped cave[]

At this point you will get captured and lose your spy phone. A polar bear reveals himself, and how you progress through the dialogue with the polar bear is entirely up to you. He will introduce himself as Herbert P. Bear, and the crab as Klutzy. After explaining his origins and the utter annoyance of Club Penguin Island, he will inform you of his plan to chop down the Ski Lodge for fire wood. He will then take Klutzy and the woodchipper, and leave.

Once the duo are gone, the black puffle will come out of hiding. Look to your right until you see a cage lift. This is a simple water puzzle, in which you have to allow the water to reach the other side. Since you cannot reach the contraption, you will have to guide the black puffle using O'berries. Get the black puffle to land on the right red lever, then the left side of the gutter, and finally the board under the pulley. The flowing water will cause the waterwheel to move, lifting the cage.

Once you are free, you will need to grab three items from this room: a hook, a bottle of hot sauce, and a rope. You can then open the cave door, where a bunch of snow will fall and cover it. To open the snow up, you need to combine an O'berry with the hot sauce, and feed it to the black puffle. This will cause him to go flying out the door, melting the snow in the process.

OPTIONAL: Secret award[]

In the cave, you can also find the blueprints for the Electromagnetic 3000. Grab it and put it in your inventory.

Stopping Herbert[]

Once you are out of the cave, take the path on the right to the stump, then the path on the left to the log, and finally the path on the left to the cliff. Click on the cliff, then combine the hook and the rope in your inventory to create a grappling hook. Use the grappling hook on the cliff to climb up onto the Ski Hill.

From there, head to the Ice Pond, which can be entered through through the Ski Lodge. You will hear Herbert complaining about his hunger, eventually revealing that he wants a hot and spicy seaweed pizza. With this information in mind, head to the Pizza Parlor in the Plaza. (Since you have neither your map nor your spy phone you will have to walk all the way - the path is Ski Village -> Dock -> Town -> Snow Forts -> Plaza -> Pizza Parlor). Once at the Pizza Parlor, ask the green penguin for a seaweed pizza. Return to the Ice Pond.

Give Herbert the pizza, and while he is distracted, move the lever on the wood chopper from green to red. This will cause Herbert and Klutzy to get pushed away from the Ski Lodge and into the Ice Pond. At this point, Gary will show up. Progress through the dialogue with Gary.

If you obtained the blueprints from the cave, let Gary know that you found his plans for the magnet and return them to him. If you do so, you will receive the Magnet Blueprints award.

After talking with Gary, the mission will end with a streak of flames in the sky.

Make sure to claim your rewards before exiting!
