Mysterious Tremors is the eighth Penguin Secret Agency point-and-click mission. It was released on May 14, 2024.

Mission start[]
The mission begins in the HQ Gadget Room with Gary who is using a seismograph. He believes that something or someone is causing tremors on purpose, and will ask you to find out what is causing them. Gary's seismograph reads that the source of the tremors is at the Dock, which Gary will instruct you to check out.
At the Dock, a machine drills its way out of the ground; the door opens to reveal Herbert, who is controlling the machine. He has dug many tunnels underground, all over the island, and has a map of the tunnels. The map flies away, and Klutzy, who is riding along, attempts to catch it, but rips the map in half. Herbert claims he has memorized the tunnels, and he and Klutzy can go back underground. In the process, Klutzy drops a lantern, which can be picked up. Alternatively, if you bought the Dark Vision Goggles from the F.I.S.H. before the mission, you will be able to use those in this mission.
Recovering the tunnel map[]
After reporting the situation to Gary, he gives you the mission of stopping Herbert, investigating the tunnels, and searching for the map; be sure to grab the fedora before you leave.
At the Town, the map pieces are blowing away; one gets stuck on the Night Club sign. Head into the Coffee Shop and help the barista clean up the cookies. They will then offer you cookies for free; take one. Outside, give the Green Puffle the fedora and feed them a cookie. They will fly up to the sign and grab the map piece for you to collect.
The next map piece flies into the Plaza and ends up on a penguin's newspaper. The penguin tells you they want a double meat pizza with extra grey fish; order the pizza for him at the Pizza Parlor and give it to him. He will give you the newspaper in return, along with the map piece. Combine the map pieces together; the map will give the directions in the underground tunnels.
With the map of directions, return to the Dock and head into the tunnels with the help of the lantern or Dark Vision Goggles. The tunnels lead to a sunken Gift Shop. A pipe will block the front door; you can use the wrench from your Spy Phone to remove the pipe. This will allow you to traverse between the Town and the end of the branching tunnels, if you need to do so quickly.
Lifting the Gift Shop[]
At the Sport Shop, obtain some pegs next to the tent. In the Gadget Room, retrieve the wooden hammer. Then grab a net at either the Beach or the Lighthouse. From here, there are two ways to lift the Gift Shop up:
- In the Gadget Room, ask Gary about Super Helium. He will allow you to use some, with expressed caution. Grab the tank of Super Helium. At the Lighthouse, ask the party prepper if you can borrow the box of balloons. After he allows you to, grab the box of balloons. Return to the Town and combine a balloon with Super Helium, then use it on the Gift Shop to lift it up.
- At the Lighthouse, ask the penguin supervising the cream soda if you can use a barrel of cream soda. After he allows you to, grab a barrel of cream soda. Return to the end of the branching tunnels and select the barrel of cream soda. Begin shaking your cursor to shake the barrel. After it has been shaken a lot, place the barrel under the Gift Shop to lift it up. Don't shake the barrel too much, else it will explode in front of your face. (You'll be fine if this happens, though!)
You must act quick here, else the Gift Shop will fall back down after some time. Wherever you are, first place the net under the Gift Shop, then place pegs at the corners. Finally, hammer the pegs into the ground with the wooden hammer. The Gift Shop will remain aloft. You can now proceed further into the tunnels, where you will find yourself just outside the Boiler Room.
OPTIONAL: Secret award[]
Not too far from the Boiler Room, you can retrieve the Prime Gear from the Earthquake Driller by using the wrench from the Spy Phone "Tools" button to release the gear. Grab it and put it in your inventory.
Foiling Herbert's plan[]
Inside the Boiler Room, Herbert and Klutzy are attempting to steal the boiler. He is surprised to see you and gets angry, striking the boiler and making it overheat. After Herbert and Klutzy retreats, you will get a call from Gary. Afterwards, you are required to fix the boiler. This involves a pipe puzzle where clicking two pieces of pipe will cause them to switch places.
After fixing the boiler, Gary tells you to report back to the HQ. He tells you that several other agents have reported the situation being settled down and that you have done a good favor. If you have the Prime Gear, hand it to Gary. If you do so, you will receive the Cool Gift award. Gary says that the PSA will have to come up with a plan to stop Herbert. The mission will then end.

Trivia[]
- Several in-game effects occurred that coincided with the mission's release
- The Book Room, Coffee Shop, Dance Club, Dance Lounge, Gift Shop, and Town have several cracks and fallen items all over due to the earthquake. Particularly, the Town has a sign warning that it is an earthquake area.
- These effects were undone on May 17, 2024.
