Penguins are the main and playable species in Club Penguin Journey and Club Penguin Island. They inhabit the island to play, explore, and create new friendships.

ID numbers of penguins[]
When a penguin name is unapproved or is yet to be approved, their name is shown as an ID instead of the chosen name. The ID starts with the letter "P" and is followed by a string of numbers, such as "P123456" for example. The string of numbers also represents how old a penguin is, so the fewer the number, the older the penguin.
