Rookie is a penguin mascot who can be seen occasionally on Club Penguin Island.
Personality[]
Rookie is both a kind-hearted and silly penguin, with the Club Penguin Times describing him as "everyone's favorite propeller-clad goofball". He can be naive and not as professional as the other agents of the Penguin Secret Agency but makes up for this his enthusiastic, positive and generous nature.
He goes above and beyond for his friends, such as planning The Fair 2023 as a surprise party for Rockhopper following the completion of the Save the Migrator Project. He is also humorous and imaginative, often cracking jokes and getting into mishaps.

- As revealed in the Yearbook 2023-2024, Rookie's signature is just a sketch of the sun.
- During the April Fools Party 2023, many penguins dressed up as Rookie by wearing the Red Propeller Cap released as a party item and the Red Sunglasses available in the Penguin Style catalog. The Club Penguin Times termed this trend 'Rookiemania'.
- He loves planning and attending parties and has helped organize events such as The Fairs and Pi Day.
- It's theorized that Rookie created the pizza crops that grow at the Mine Shack. This stems from a rumor that was published in the Club Penguin Times in which a green penguin wearing sunglasses planted pizza ingredients in the ground, with pizza plants beginning to grow after a few days.
- He considers Gary to be his best friend and enjoys going Sled Racing with him.
- In the Yearbook 2023-2024, he was voted "Most likely to break the fabric of reality".
- He owns a pet rock.
