Ski Hill

The Ski Hill is a room in the north west of Club Penguin Island, with the Ski Village nearby down the hill. Penguins can play Sled Racing here and buy new sleds from the Game Upgrades catalog, located on a toboggan.

History[]

The Ski Village was released on February 5, 2023, following the opening of Club Penguin Journey. Sled Racing and its Game Upgrades catalog were added on November 24, 2023, during the Winter Party 2023.

On December 4, 2023, most of the room was barricaded off due to recent reports of an avalanche, reflecting the events of Mission 4.

Parties[]

During the Beta Party, the Ski Hill sign pole turned white, lavender, and striped. The room featured white and lavender balloons, fences, racing sleds, and fireworks shooting off in the background. The Blue Pompom Toque could be picked up from a crate to the right.
During the St. Patrick's Day Party 2023, the Ski Hill featured a huge pot of gold with the Lucky Coin Pin inside it. A rainbow shimmered from the pot, which went over the whole island. The rest of the room was decorated with clovers and mushrooms, and the snow turned green.
During The Fair 2023, the Sled Racing signs were bright and vibrant, while the room was decorated with confetti, balloons, and an ice cream stand.
During the Halloween Party 2023, a scarecrow replaced the Ski Hill sign, and the room was decorated with jack-o-lanterns and pumpkin lights. A pumpkin was also seen riding the ski lift.
During the Winter Party 2023, the Ski Hill was decorated with racing sleds and winter balloons. There was a bucket of spilled Lavender paint, which gave players the color when waddled to.
During the Holiday Party 2023, the Ski Hill sign pole became a candy cane themed, and various gifts and presents were placed around the hill.

During the 1st Anniversary Party, the Ski Hill was decorated the same way as it was during the Winter Party 2023, without the paint bucket and color.
During the Pirate Party 2024, the Ski Hill sign represented a crow's nest. Barrels and plants decorated the room, and the Sled Racing signs were named after pirate terms, with each sign wearing a pirate item. There was a large treasure chest of gold and Sailor Hats which could be picked up.
During the April Fools Party 2024, the sky turned purple, and Keith sat in the middle of the room, replacing the Ski Hill sign.
During the Medieval Party 2024, the Ski Hill was the top of a volcanic hill, featuring lava pools, treasure, thrones, a Scorn statue, and a spiky volleyball game. Players could obtain a Noble Helmet from a nearby chest. The Dragon's Path separated the Ski Hill and Ski Village, while players could venture further to the Bridge ahead after completing the Scorn Scavenger Hunt.
During the Summer Kickoff Party, the Ski Village was decorated with large props of Fluffy, Mullet, and a grey fish, and a waterslide that led down to the Ski Village.
During the Music Jam 2024, the sky and clouds turned purple, changing the lighting of the room.
During Camp Penguin, the Ski Hill was one of the ends of a hiking trail, surround by reeds, bushes, and fences.
During The Fair 2024, the Island Coaster was added to the room, where players could take a rollercoaster ride across the island. The ice cream stand also turned pink.
During the Halloween Party 2024, the Ski Hill was decorated similarly to the previous year. A red lollipop hid on the scarecrow's arm, as part of the Halloween Haunted Delights scavenger hunt.
During the Holiday Party 2024, the Ski Hill was decorated similarly to the previous year.

During the Festival of Flight, the Cloud Maker 3000 was located here, where players could push the red button to make clouds of different shapes.
During the Puffle Party 2025, the Ski Hill became the hub for the Reindeer Puffle, which could be adopted. A large ice rink formed in the middle of the room, with some Reindeer Puffles sledding across it, and there was an icy slide to right. The Reindeer Puffle Pin was also hidden by the Bunny Hill.
During the April Fools Party 2025, the Ski Lift's wire snapped, and the toboggan was located on the clouds, being replaced with a door that led to space, which was the theme for the Cave Mine. A station resembling the Death Star was seen in the far distance.
During the Medieval Party 2025, the Ski Hill was the top of a dark tower with torches and candles. Clicking on the mirror allowed penguins to relive the Scorn Battle.
During Sensei's Fire Scavenger Hunt and the Card-Jitsu Fire Party, the sky turned orange, changing the lighting of the room.
During The Fair Games, the Ski Hill was decorated similarly to the previous year.
During the Halloween Party 2025, the Ski Hill was decorated similarly to the previous years.
During the Holiday Jam, the Ski Hill was decorated similarly to the previous years.

During the Winter Party 2026, a snow mound with coffee replaced the Ski Hill sign, with some logs beside it for penguins to sit on. The red Sled Racing sign seen in the Ski Village was moved here, and the other Sled Racing signs became visual representations of their names, such as the Bunny Hill sign having bunny ears. There was a screen showing two penguins sled racing, and there was a crate of White Pompom Toques, with the Winter Party 2026 Catalog above it.
During the 3rd Anniversary Party, the Ski Hill was decorated the same way as it was during the Puffle Party 2025.

Mini-Events[]

During the Leprechaun Leftovers Scavenger Hunt 2023, a golden clover hid behind the Ski Hill sign pole.
During the Easter Scavenger Hunt 2023, an Easter egg was hidden on top of the Ski Hill sign pole.
During New Year's Day 2024, a dance floor and balloons replaced the Ski Hill sign, and the aurora borealis was removed. Before the celebration, a sign notified what time the celebration started. When the celebration started, various fireworks shot off in the distance, and the sign now read "Happy New Year".

During New Year's Day 2025, the Ski Hill was decorated similarly to the previous year.

During the Penguin Play Awards 2025, an interview was being conducted on the Ski Hill, which featured chairs, lights, cameras, a backdrop, and a refreshments table.
During New Year's Day 2026, the dance floor did not return, but the balloons, sign, and fireworks did return, along with the aurora borealis.
