Town

The Town is a centralized area to the west of Club Penguin Island. It is known to be a main hub room for many penguins and contains important buildings such as the Coffee Shop, Dance Club, and Gift Shop. The Town is connected to three outer areas: the Dock to the west, the Snow Forts to the east, and the Welcome Room to the southeast.

History[]

The Town was released on February 5, 2023, following the opening of Club Penguin Journey. On May 14, 2024, the Town was affected by an earthquake, reflecting the room's state in the corresponding mission. A path to the Welcome Room was added during Camp Penguin on August 5, 2024, which stayed permanently after the party.

Parties[]

During the Beta Party, the Town was colored white and lavender and featured decorations such as balloons, presents, clouds, a "Beta Party" banner, and a confetti cannon. The CPJ Beta Hat could be picked up from the present in front of the Dance Club.
During the St. Patrick's Day Party 2023, the Town was colored green. The Coffee Shop had a "St. Patrick's Day" banner, many clover decorations were hung up, and a giant clover was drawn in the snow. A rainbow could also be seen above the Gift Shop.
During the April Fools Party 2023, the buildings became cardboard box versions of themselves, and a red banner and sign that said "April Fools!", as well as balloons and boxes decorated the room.
During the Puffle Party 2023, a "Puffle Party" banner was placed on the Coffee Shop, which resembled a Small Scratching Post. The Dance Club became a Purple Puffle House, while the Gift Shop resembled a Scratch Tower.
During the Western Party 2023, a "Surprise Party" banner was hung up on the Coffee Shop, and the Dance Club turned into a barn with haybales in front of it.
During the Card-Jitsu Party 2023, the Town turned into a traditional East Asian water village with cherry blossoms behind it, and the Amulet engraved in stone.
During the Submarine Party, the bottom of the Town featured coral reefs. The Coffee Shop was renamed to "Mermaid Coffee" and turned into a seashell, the Dance Club became a rusty submarine, and the Gift Shop had rusty paint and was decorated with moss and starfish.
During The Fair 2023, the buildings became colorful and extravagant, the Coffee Shop featuring a sign saying "The Fair" with a Rockhopper cutout behind it. Balloons floated in the background, and confetti laid on the ground.
During the Halloween Party 2023, most of the Town was covered in black tentacles. The ground was cracked and had green slime glowing from it. A large fossil was place on top of the Dance Club, and the Gift Shop sold Halloween costumes.
During the Holiday Party 2023, the Town became a mini village and was decorated with festive decorations such as presents, toys, candy canes, lights, and garlands. Santa's Sled could be seen above the Dance Club.

During the Winter Fiesta 2024, the Town was decorated with yellow festive lights, piñatas, and palm trees. The Dance Club turned into a golden Mayan pyramid which penguins could climb.
During the 1st Anniversary Party, the Town was decorated with yellow and purple balloons, streamers, and confetti. The Coffee Shop became an anniversary cake, the Dance Club became the Candy Club, and the Gift Shop turned into a sub sandwich shop.
During the Pirate Party 2024, the Town became a pirate village. The room featured stone ground with a Jolly Roger puffle symbol in the middle, and balloons, banners, streamers, treasure chests, and pirate clothes decorated the room.
During the April Fools Party 2024, the Town was a reference to Toontown Online, another Disney MMO. The Coffee Shop represented the Toontown Bank in Toontown Central, the Dance Club became Minnie's Melodyland Toon HQ, and the Gift Shop became Rookie's Gag Shop.
During the Medieval Party 2024, the Town became a medieval square. The Coffee Shop became a medieval coffee house named "Ye Olde Brew", the Dance Club became a stone castle called the "Knight Club", and the Gift Shop, named "Market", became a red tower. Pumpkin and tomato plants were also growing in the bottom of the room.
During the Summer Kickoff Party, the Coffee Shop became a giant coconut, and the Dance Club became a blue Splash Club with palm trees and hoses coming from the entrance. A big smiling sun was also drawn in the snow.
During the Music Jam 2024, the Town was decorated with a "Music Jam" sign, while various cameras, speakers, and stages were set up for performing and breakdancing. The Coffee Shop was advertised as having live music, and the Dance Club and Gift Shop had neon lighting.
During Camp Penguin, the Town was part of a hiking trail, surrounded by reeds and bushes. A wooden "Camp Penguin" sign was placed in the bottom-left corner.
During Operation: Veggie Villain, Herbert's footprints were seen coming from the Dock and leading to the Snow Forts.
During The Fair 2024, the Town was decorated similarly to the previous year, with the addition of the Island Coaster in the background.
During the Halloween Party 2024, the Town was decorated with jack-o-lanterns, lamp posts, and stone walkways. The buildings became spooky structures, such as haunted houses and spooky towers.
During the Holiday Party 2024, the penguins became miniature, and the buildings became festive and fancy two-story establishments. A giant snowflake was drawn in the snow, and Christmas trees, lights, and a toy train decorated the room.

During the Festival of Flight, the Town was decorated with blue and yellow balloons and lanterns, as well as sun and cloud cutouts. A "Festival of Flight" banner was hung on the Coffee Shop.
During the 2nd Anniversary Party, a buffet was being held in the Town, which was decorated with red and blue balloons, streamers, and confetti. The Coffee Shop became an anniversary cake, the Dance Club resembled the Infinite Tower, and a mini Island Coaster replica surrounded the Gift Shop.
During the Puffle Party 2025, the Town was decorated similarly to its appearance during the Puffle Party 2023, with the addition of a puffle outline of different colors drawn in the snow.
During the April Fools Party 2025, the Town became a finger-painted and watercolor version of itself. A spotlight shone on a door in the middle of the room, which led to the Lighthouse.
During the Medieval Party 2025, the Town was decorated similarly to the previous year.
During the Adventure Party 2025, the buildings turned into tiki huts with tiki statues, and tropical plants surrounded the room. A stream led into a small pond underneath the Gift Shop.
During the Western Party 2025, the Town was decorated similarly to its appearance during the Western Party 2023, with desert sand and cacti being added to the room.
During the Card-Jitsu Fire Party, the Town became a traditional East Asian fire village.
During The Fair Games, the Town was decorated similarly to the previous year.
During the Halloween Party 2025, the Town was decorated similarly to the previous year.
During the Holiday Jam, the Town was decorated similarly to the previous year.

During the Winter Party 2026, a hot cocoa sign was placed above the Coffee Shop, the Dance Club resembled an Ice Castle, and a giant puffle snowman was built next to the Gift Shop which had a "Winter Party" banner. Some penguin snow angels were formed in the snow, and winter balloons decorated the room.
During the 3rd Anniversary Party, the Town was decorated with confetti, as well as pastel yellow, blue, and silver balloons and streamers. The Coffee Shop became an anniversary cake, the Dance Club was a large lemonade jug with serving cups, and the Gift Shop represented a gelatin cake.

Mini-Events[]

During the Valentine's Day Celebration 2023, the Town was colored red, pink, and white, and was decorated with balloons and banners. A big heart laid in the middle of the room, and the gift turned into a heart.
During the Easter Scavenger Hunt 2023, the Coffee Shop turned into a giant Easter egg, the Dance Club became a giant bunny head, and the Gift Shop turned into a giant egg basket. Several Easter eggs decorated the room, and there was a big bitten chocolate bar in the middle of the room.
During Earth Day 2023, the buildings were colored green, and some plants were placed around the room. An empty java bag laid between the Coffee Shop and Dance Club, as part of the Recycle Hunt.
During the Graduation Mini-Event 2023, the Town was decorated with blue and purple balloons and streamers. The Dance Club wore a Graduation Cap, and a purple carpet led into its entrance. At the bottom of the room, there was a white limousine with its doors open.
During the Club Penguin 18th Anniversary Celebration, the Town featured many decorations in blue, yellow, and white, including balloons and streamers. The Coffee Shop was a giant anniversary cake, the Dance Club became a giant present, and the Gift Shop became a large building with an electronic billboard.

During the Smoothie-A-Thon, the Town was decorated with fruit, as well as fruit banners. The Coffee Shop became a smoothie shop in the shape of a coconut with a Smoothie Smash ad, while the Dance Club featured neon colors, graffiti, and a sign advertising DJ3K.
During Pi Day, the Town was covered with pie, and a banner of a pie with the pi symbol was hung above the Coffee Shop. Penguins could pick up a Pie from the Coffee Shop table.
During Earth Day 2024, the Town was decorated similarly to the previous year.
During the Club Penguin 19th Anniversary Celebration, the Coffee Shop was decorated as a purple, green, and orange anniversary cake with confetti in front of it.
During the Mountain Expedition, the Town was decorated with mountain and cloud cutouts, as well as orange and blue balloons. A "Mountain Expedition" banner was hung up on the Coffee Shop.

During the Easter Scavenger Hunt 2025, the Town was covered with grass. A "Happy Easter" banner was hung up on the Coffee Shop, the Dance Club turned into a giant Easter egg, and the Gift Shop was covered in chocolate, with a sign saying "Take a bite!!" The Pink Bunny Ears could be picked up here.
During the Graduation Mini-Event 2025, the Town was decorated similarly to its appearance during the Graduation Mini-Event 2023.
During Sensei's Fire Scavenger Hunt, the sky turned orange, changing the lighting of the room.
During the Club Penguin 20th Anniversary Celebration, the Town was decorated with balloon bunches and a large striped carpet with colors of the party hats. Ladders were placed on the Coffee Shop and Gift Shop, allowing penguins to access the Town Rooftop.
During the Penguin Play Awards 2025, a "Penguin Play Awards" banner was hung up above the Dance Club, and there was a wooden sign advertising the event.
