The Underground Pool is a spacious underground cavern, located below sea level. It featurs a swimming pool, large windows that provide a view of the underwater, and a ladder leading up to the Plaza. There are also entrances to other underground rooms: a door leading to the Boiler Room and a tunnel leading to the Mine.

The Underground Pool was released on February 5, 2023, following the opening of Club Penguin Journey.

Parties[]
- During the April Fools Party 2023, the Underground Pool was decorated with red and white balloons and streamers, and some boxes.
- During the Puffle Party 2023, the Underground Pool became the hub for the Black Puffle. The wall was covered with graffiti art, and the pool was replaced with a mini skatepark. Clicking on the red button closed the pool windows, which made the black puffles flame up.
- During the Halloween Party 2023, the Underground Pool turned into a green Slime Pool, while the room was decorated with jack-o-lanterns and streamers. The door leading to the Boiler Room was blocked off by a grey wall.
- During the 1st Anniversary Party, the Underground Pool was decorated the same way as it was during the April Fools Party 2023.
- During the Pirate Party 2024, the Underground Pool became an underground ancient ruins, featuring stone pillars, fossils, statues, and plants. Clicking on the rock above the pool revealed a map piece for the Map Scavenger Hunt.
- During the April Fools Party 2024, the pool was emptied out, and the middle window played a showing of the 1928 animated short Steamboat Willie, which entered public domain on January 1, 2024.
- During the Medieval Party 2024, the Underground Pool turned into a purple cave filled with treasure, and was home to the Ye Knight's Quest.
- During the Summer Kickoff Party, there was a red button that activated a mechanical demonstration behind the windows of how a crab cracked the windows.
- During the Music Jam 2024, the Underground Pool featured the Floor Piano 3000, where penguins could make tunes by waddling on it. Players could choose whether only themselves or all other penguins could play the piano by toggling a switch on the wall.
- During The Fair 2024, the Underground Pool featured a large yellow, blue, and purple carousel, with Mullet, white horse, and Fluffy seats.
- During the Halloween Party 2024, the Underground Pool was decorated similarly to the previous year, with the Boiler Room door now being available. A yellow and green wrapped candy for the Halloween Haunted Delights scavenger hunt was hidden above the cave leading to the Mine.
- During the Holiday Party 2024, the Underground Pool turned into an snowy and icy blue crystal cave. Fluffies covered in ice blocks could be seen swimming by.
- During the construction of Festival of Flight, the windows cracked, freezing the water within the room. When the island was in flight during the party, the glass was safely removed, and the windows were barricaded. There was coffee available for hard-working penguins on break.
- During the 2nd Anniversary Party, the Underground Pool was decorated the same way as it was during the Halloween Party 2024.
- During the Puffle Party 2025, the Underground Pool was decorated similarly to its appearance during the Puffle Party 2023, with the addition of the Black Puffle Pin.
- During the April Fools Party 2025, the bottom corners of the room featured two doors that led to the Stadium. The middle window was cracked by hockey pucks coming from the doors. There were red and blue buttons on the sides which let penguins cheer for their favorite team.
- During the Medieval Party 2025, the Underground Pool was decorated similarly to the previous year.
- During the Adventure Party 2025, the Underground Pool was decorated similarly to its appearance during the Pirate Party 2024.
- During Sensei's Fire Scavenger Hunt and the Card-Jitsu Fire Party, the orange sky from outside changed the lighting in the room.
- During The Fair Games, the Underground Pool was decorated similarly to the previous year.
- During the Halloween Party 2025, the Underground Pool was decorated similarly to the previous year, without the hidden candy.
- During the Holiday Jam, the Underground Pool turned into an icy cave like the previous year, with the addition of the Floor Piano 3000.
- During the 3rd Anniversary Party, the Underground Pool was decorated the same way as it was during the Adventure Party 2025.

- During the Easter Scavenger Hunt 2023, an Easter Egg was hiding behind the middle window, in the lower left corner.
